Weekly Schedule for May 30-June 5, 2016

Weather and unforeseen conditions can/will change the schedule.

-Three dead trees are being removed on #6 Tuesday. There are several more dead trees to the left of the green that will be taken down at a later date.
-Begin to cut the secondary (fine fescue) rough. This is done for two main reasons: to control weeds and to keep the stand of grass thin enough to find golf balls.
-Grooming (light verticut) of fairways Tuesday and Wednesday.
-Mow bunker surrounds
-Check sand depth in greenside bunkers on holes #1-5
-Repair water cooler stand at #8 tees

#5 Pond and Trees Along #6 Cart Path

There is a leak where the two pre-fab concrete pieces that make up the outflow on #5 pond meet. We are waiting for the water to drop below the level of the leak before we can patch it which will probably be sometime next week.

Also, along #6 cart path there are some dead trees which we are scheduling to have removed by Arader Tree Service. The compostion and location of these trees make it too difficult to remove with our in-house staff.

-Edge, weed and check sand depth on #16 greenside bunkers
-Add sand to greenside bunkers on holes #1-5
-Weed control in secondary rough areas

Weekly Schedule for May 16-22, 2016

Weather and unforeseen conditions can/will change the schedule.

-Mowing of bunker banks
-Edging, weeding and sand distribution on greenside bunkers #14, #15, #17 and #18.
-Sand distribution on greenside bunkers on holes #1-5. We are adding sand to these bunkers to insure there is 6" of sand in the bottoms. Originally we did 4".

-Today the edging, weeding, sand installation and rolling of faces took place on the greenside bunkers on holes #5-13 and #16
-The rest of the week will be focused on mowing

-Our main focus and attention is on bunkers. Edging, weeding, firming faces and adding sand where needed.
