Winter Shutdown Renovation Work

We have lots of stuff going on at the course during winter shutdown! Not much rest for myself or our staff during this time. We have undertaken the following projects:

-The expansion of black, blue and white tees on hole 3

-The reconstruction of the sod wall bunkers on holes 11 and 18

-A modification to the three sod wall bunkers on hole 2

McDonald and Sons Golf Course Builders (http://www.mcdonaldgolfinc.com/construction/) is doing the work. They are the region's most respected golf course contractors. The crew they have at Fieldstone is coming off rebuilding two greens at Pine Valley. Project Manager Kyle Trzaskos is a native of Wilmington, DE and led the re-building of Congressional Country Clubs greens before the US Open.
